The continuous growth of the world economy and the corresponding exchange of goods repeatedly pose big challenges for companies in the transport sector.

Dear Readers,

The continuous growth of the world economy and the corresponding exchange of goods repeatedly pose big challenges for companies in the transport sector. Ocean-freight and air-freight carriers react by adjusting their capacities on the most important trade lanes. And, especially on maritime transport routes, they start operating mega cargo ships of a size that stuns the public and would have been unimaginable just a few years ago.

All of this has led to stiff price competition in the transport market for the past several years. All players must adapt to the persistent market volatility. Long-term planning becomes increasingly difficult for loaders and logistics companies alike. What has been valid just yesterday is already outdated tomorrow.

For more than 30 years SENATOR International has managed time and again to adapt to the oftentimes radical changes in the international transport sector. With our solid global network of more than 50 offices, we offer our customers comprehensive service that meets any of their needs.

By introducing a worldwide transport management system, we were able to respond to the cost pressure in almost all areas, and yet create benefits for our customers. We would like to express a special thank you to our long-term customers who value the individualized service by a mid-size company. And to our staff whose commitment and motivation are crucial for our success.
