Delays should be noticed for FRA (Frankfurt International Airport)

The import situation for all Europe remains highly volatile. The situation is currently coming to a head in Frankfurt in particular. For many cargo services, the delivery of the cargo to the forwarding agents according to ETA (estimated time of arrival) is delayed. Further problems are high sickness rates (due to Corona-Crisis), resulting in a lack of local personnel, handling takeovers and similar factors.

Both parties - airport operator Fraport and the GHAs (Ground Handling) - are working at full speed to get the problems under control. Many factors come together: Airlines, some of which have to be handled ad hoc without a flight schedule; increasing packing numbers as last seen in spring 2020; a shift of cargo from London to FRA due to the brexit and similar reasons.

Customers should notice these delays and take them into account for all bookings.
